Spectator Rules for All-City

Hello 12&Under All-City Families

Below are the league COVID guidelines for spectators at this years 12&Under All-City session. I know this maybe difficult for a few of you.  Thank you for your understanding.

COVID-19 Precautions
• Due to the league’s recommendation, we are limiting the number of spectators to two per swimmer as many of the participants will be unvaccinated and their health is our main priority. Clubs will receive wristbands and may organize and distribute them however they choose. Wristbands will be handed out to a designated club attendee (can be a coach, parent volunteer, etc.), and we ask that each club distribute accordingly. For example, if Kent has 23 12 & under participants, they will receive 46 wristbands and that does not include swimmers, coaches, timers and officials. This process will allow us to not go over maximum occupancy.
• VRSTC requests swimmers place their mask in a Ziploc bag prior to stepping up on the block and/or entering the pool. For those swimmers completing a 25-yard distance, the mask will be returned to the swimmer in its bag at the end of the event. Please have your swimmers write their names on the bag, as they will be placed in a basket.
• VRSTC also requests unvaccinated spectators of 12 and over wear a mask when social distancing is not possible.
• Regardless of vaccination status, VRSTC suggests masks be worn inside the locker rooms.
