Hello Blue Ridge Swim Team!

We are excited for the swim meets to begin next week! We will swim at Klahaya on Thursday, June 22nd.

There are two items to attend to, CUSTOM swim caps and our scoreboard fundraiser.

1.  Blue Ridge Custom Swim Caps – orders due THURSDAY, June 15^th

We have yellow barracuda swim caps available for free – just ask Glen during one of the practices. You can also personalize 2 styles of caps, by adding your first or last name. The “dome” caps (qty = 2) can be customized with your first or last name for $40. The standard caps (qty = 2) can be customized with your first or last name for $30. Please see the attached photo and flyer for images, and ask a team mate if you’d like a style recommendation! To order, Venmo Jean McCarthy (@JeanMcCarthy) and specify the name you would like printed on the set of 2 caps.

Backpacks and Hats

We have a limited quantity of Barracuda swim backpacks ($35) and trucker hats ($20) for sale with free delivery in Blue Ridge! To order, Venmo Jean McCarthy (@JeanMcCarthy).

2. Blue Ridge Barracudas Swim Team Scoreboard Fundraiser

Hey Swim Team Families! We have been working to raise money to support the purchase and installation of a new 6-land scoreboard for our home swim meets. If you haven't had a chance to donate yet, we'd love for you to support this project. You can donate on our Scoreboard Fundraiser Campaign page. Blue Ridge home swim meets are special events for our team - fun and exciting evenings where we get to connect as a community and cheer on the Barracudas. We hope that the addition of the scoreboard will help make for an even more engaging experience for our swimmers, families, and spectators. We are well along our way towards our $12,000 fundraising goal but we need to raise additional money to support the purchase and installation costs.
