Barracuda Nation!

Just a quick reminder that our Ice Cream Social is tomorrow — Thursday, May 7th at 6:30pm at the Blue Ridge Pool. It's one of our favorite Barracudas traditions to kick off the season, and a great chance to reconnect with teammates and meet new families before practices get fully underway.

A few things to know before you come:

Bring your suit! After the social we'll have fun and games in the pool — so make sure your swimmer comes ready to swim.

Suit fit kit: Not sure what size to order for the new season? We'll have a fit kit on hand — stop by and try on suits before placing your order in the team store.

Have outgrown gear to pass along? Bring any suits, parkas, or other swim gear your family has grown out of. We'll have a table set up for families to swap and hand down gear to other Barracudas.

Please RSVP in Swimtopia so we have a rough sense of how many to expect — and if you're able to help with setup, serving, or cleanup, please sign up for a shift while you're there.

On the Horizon

Practices Start Monday! Regular swim team practices kick off this Monday, May 11th — starting at 6:30pm for 8-and-unders (right after Mini Barracudas wraps up). View the full practice schedule for all age groups.

Welcome Back Parent Social — Thursday, May 14th, 5:30–8:30pm
Grown-ups — while the kids are in the pool next Thursday, come hang out upstairs in the clubhouse and enjoy light appetizers and drinks (including beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages). Please RSVP in Swimtopia so we can plan accordingly — more details to come next week!
