Barracuda Nation!

What an awesome start to swim season! Huge kudos to our Mini Barracudas for wrapping up week one, and to our Intro Swim Camp swimmers for completing the program. We're so excited to welcome everyone into regular practices starting this Monday, May 11th.

Practice Schedule

Full practice schedules are on Swimtopia. For next week:

• Mini Barracudas Session A: 5:30–6:00 PM
• Mini Barracudas Session B: 6:00–6:30 PM
• 8 and Unders: 6:30–7:15 PM
• 10 and Unders / 12 and Unders: 7:15–8:00 PM
• 14 and Unders / 18 and Unders: 8:00–9:00 PM

The following week (5/18), once Mini Barracudas completes, we'll shift into our regular evening practice schedule with 8-and-unders starting at 5:30 PM.

What to Bring

Suit, goggles, towel, water bottle, and warm layers for after practice — evenings can be cool!

Team Store & Suit Sizing

If you still need a suit or want to size up before ordering, we have a SwimOutlet fit kit available at the pool. We'll make it available during practices next week — just ask a coach or email us at [email protected] to try on suits for size. Welcome Back Parent Social — Postponed

We've decided to push the Welcome Back Parent Social to a TBD date, hopefully the following week. The current weather forecast is looking...less than ideal. It was naive of us to assume that opening day weekend weather would stick around forever — it is still Seattle spring, after all. While we entertained rolling the dice (or breaking out hot toddies in the cold drizzle on the pool deck), we decided it's worth holding out for slightly nicer weather. Apologies for the curveball, and stay tuned for a new date!

Ice Cream Social — Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who came out last Thursday! It was awesome to see the pool filled with activity and just the right amount of light mayhem — a perfect start to the season. If you missed it, check out the highlight reel on the Blue Ridge Pool Instagram! And a big thank you to everyone who helped with setup, serving, and cleanup. Looking forward to many more fun events this season.
