We wanted to take a brief break from our regular, youth-focused programming to highlight a special meet for the Blue Ridge adult crew — the annual adult meet!

Adult Meet — Saturday, July 25th at Sheridan Beach

The adult meet is open to any Blue Ridge adult and features a fun mix of individual and relay events — including lots of short races (25s), one long race (500 Free), and men's, women's, and mixed gender relays. Some memorable highlights include the all-coach relay, multi-generational family relays, recent Barracuda graduates dusting off their racing gear, and a current Barracuda swimmer serving as honorary adult age group coordinator. Swimmers of all abilities and ages welcome — it's a great celebration of fun and camaraderie. Just make sure to bring your Advil and Icy Hot, because you'll feel it the next day — but it will absolutely be worth it.

Schedule for the day:

• 7:00am — 500 Free warm-ups and open swim (bring or find someone to time and count laps)
• 8:00am — Main meet warm-ups
• 9:00am — Main meet begins
• ~12:00pm — Approximate end
