A final quick reminder that sign-ups for tomorrow's meet against Innis Arden close in a few hours, at 12pm today. Let's have a strong showing against the Trolls for our final away meet of the season!

Additionally, we wanted to share an important note from Karen Bombino, a Barracuda parent who once again is graciously organizing our end-of-season gifts for all of our coaches. We'd love for every family to support our awesome coaching staff as part of this effort. Without further ado...

Hello Barracuda Families!

The swim team summer regular season is starting to wind down and I would like to give our swim team coaches a little extra thank you for a wonderful season. Our swim coaches — Coach Dominic, Sophia, Cooper, Matthew, Adam, and Olivia — have been great role models to our swimmers! They have coached our kids with a lot of energy and enthusiasm during the past few months and I would like to thank them for their hard work and dedication to our kids and families!

In the past, our team has given the swim team coaches gift cards, cash, and small gifts. Some people ask how much is enough to give — it's really up to you and your family. Most of the coaches are college kids, so they truly appreciate the extra money. I have been collecting swim team coach money for many years and have seen $10 all the way to $500 from one family. Like I said, please do what is best for your family.

If you would like to donate money to our amazing swim coaches, please do so by Friday, July 24th.

If you would like to contribute to a group gift, please do so in one of the following ways:

1. Drop off a check made out to Karen Bombino or cash in our milk box by the front door. Please message me or look in the directory for our home address.
2. Use PayPal to transfer funds — [email protected] (no "n" in Karen in email address)
3. Use Venmo to transfer funds — @Karen-Bombino

We will present the coaches' gifts at the End of the Year Swim Team Banquet on Wednesday, August 5th.
