We're just two days away from our final home and regular season meet — Tuesday, July 21st against Sheridan Beach. It's going to be an awesome night: the weather is looking great, the theme is Tie Dye, and we celebrate our graduating seniors for their final races at the Blue Ridge pool. It's shaping up to be a close meet — we'd love the entire team to show up in force!

And of course we close out the night with the lifeguard and staff show and pool party. It's a later night — but it's once a season, and you won't want to miss it.

If your swimmer was part of Friday's tie-dye party, your t-shirts will be available at practice on Monday and Tuesday. And huge props to Coach Sophia for working overtime this weekend to finalize and press a ton of Barracuda gear to get your wares ready for the final meet!

Meet Sign-Ups — Deadline 12pm Monday, July 20th

Sign up your swimmers now — sign-ups close at noon tomorrow (Monday). One important note: if your swimmer has only competed in one regular season meet so far, Sheridan Beach is your last chance to meet the two-meet requirement for post-season eligibility — both individual events and relays at Prelims require it.

Volunteers — We Need Your Help!

• 27 Concession Donation items — including La Croix/sparkling water, pizza donations, and Cup o' Noodles

Also — if you'd like to explore one of our Deck Crew specialized roles for next season (Clerk of Course, Computer Operations, Stroke and Turn, Age Group Coordinator, Head Timers) and want to shadow one of those roles at this meet, please let us know! It's a great way to learn the ropes in a lower-stakes setting before committing next year.

• Lifeguard Appreciation Day (July 31st): Our lifeguards keep the pool safe and fun all summer — let's show them some love! Sign up to bring food or drinks, or stop by during open swim to write a thank-you note to your favorite guard.
