As post-season week continues and our Northerns finalists get ready to head to Klahaya later this afternoon, we wanted to send a few other end of season reminders about Northerns, Coaches Gift, Season Photo Gallery, Lifeguard Appreciation Day, and End of Season Party.

Northerns

We're excited for the 23 swimmers representing Blue Ridge this afternoon at Northerns! It's a fun meet and a short drive away at Klahaya if you want to come cheer on the Barracudas. We're also still looking for 1 timer to help out — if you'd like a front row seat for the action, let us know or sign up on Swimtopia. And thanks Ashley, Beth, and Joe for signing up to help out already!

End of Season Coaches Gift

Thanks so much for all of the generosity in support of our awesome coaching staff: Dom, Sophia, Cooper, Matthew, Olivia, and Adam. We're around the pool deck all the time, and could not be more impressed with the calibre and dedication of this group — we're lucky to have them. Most of them are headed back to college in a few short weeks, and we'd love to make sure they feel our support before they go. If you haven't already, or want to add to your contribution, there's still time.

We love seeing the community's contributions to the season photo gallery for the end of season slideshow — so many great pictures and memories already. We'd love more! Since the coordinator crew is all parents of younger swimmers, we'd especially appreciate families with kids in older age groups submitting photos, so we can make sure the whole team is represented in the show. Lifeguard Appreciation Day

Reminder that tomorrow, Friday, July 31st, is Lifeguard Appreciation Day. It's time to celebrate our amazing lifeguards and let them know how much we appreciate all they do to keep our pool safe, fun, and welcoming all summer long.

If you've enjoyed the pool this summer, please consider signing up to bring food and drinks for the guards. Here's the lineup:

• Doughnuts at lap swim
• Bagels and cream cheese during group swim lessons
• Pizza lunch
• Chipotle dinner

And one more thing: during open swim, please take a minute to write a note to your favorite guard. It can be sweet, funny, or simple — just a little message to say thanks for being awesome. Thanks for helping give our lifeguards a day full of good food, kind words, and a whole lot of appreciation!

End of Season Party

Finally, we're stoked about the turnout for the end of season party! We're looking forward to celebrating the season with a fantastic team dinner, awards show, and swim party at the Blue Ridge Pool, Wednesday, August 5th, 6–9pm. Please RSVP soon if you haven't already — the whole family is welcome, and you can include any guests not in Swimtopia in your RSVP. There's also an option to sign up to bring dessert or help with clean-up crew, if you're interested.
